If you are visiting Valencia in July or already live here, you are in for a treat! July is an amazing time to be in Valencia because this is when Feria de Julio (July Fair) is happening, amongst other things—a month filled with fireworks, concerts, activities and good vibes. I have curated a liste below of the best things to do.
Firework shows
If there is one thing to know about Valencia, it’s that their fireworks are out of this world. There is so much passion and also knowledge behind these shows, it’s mindblowing. There are people making careers out of pyrotechnics and that speaks volumes. Below are the main firework shows his month. All of them will be at midnight on Saturdays.

Watch the Euro Finale for free on a giant screen
The City Hall of Valencia has announced that they have orgazined a free way to watch the finale between Spain and England. The entrance starts at 8 p.m. on July 14th at The Fonteta de Sant Lluís, the exact address is here. I really recommend it, as the atmosphere is amazing.
Champions Burger at Mestalla Stadium
There is a burger festival at the Mestalla Stadium and the entrance is free, plus you can check out one of the most iconic stadiums of Spain, if you hadn’t had the chance already! There are burger stands, cheesecake and also fries and sauces stands. The atmosphere is really nice, usually it’s packed.
Tip: Order through Uber Eats for a discount (there is a QR code you can scan on a poster). The last day of the festival is 7th of July.
Jazz Festival
The Jazz Festival returns to Valencia, with a combination of free and paid concerts (the prices are between 5 to 20 euros). You can find more details here.
Amusement Park in Turia
Near the Flower Bridge, you can find an amusement park with multiple fund things to do, including a big wheel. It’s worth a visit!
Movies at the beach
Enjoying the beach in the evening is already nice, but adding a movie to this? Yes, please! Near the city of Valencia, the beaches that will showcase movies are Patacona beach (the closest one) and El Perelló. There are 19 beaches included in this programme and this activity is free!
On July 7th, you can watch the movies The Super Mario Bros on Patacona beach. The same movie will be showcased on El Perelló beach on the 23rd of July.
You can see the full schedule and beaches here.
